Teddy Bear Selections

1. New Image 400X400
New Raster Layer...Selections, Choose teddybear Body
Fill it with color #1, Effects, Add- Noise-Uniform..
at 5%....

New Layer...

Effects, Cutout..
V & H 1
Opacity 70
Blur 23.8
Use Color #2

**These 2 steps will be used for most of
the tutorial, so I will refer to it as
Repeat Noise & Cutout
So, its just Add Noise-Uniform-5%,
Add Layer & repeat the same cutout

2. New Raster Layer, Selections -Teddy
bear Head - Fill with Color #1
Repeat Noise & Cutout

3. New Raster Layer, Selections -Teddy
bear Hand - Fill with Color #1
Repeat Noise & Cutout

4. New Raster Layer, Selections -Teddy
bear Foot-Right- Fill with Color #1
Repeat Noise & Cutout
Selections - teddybear Foot-RightInside
Fill with Color #4
Repeat Noise & Cutout..
Selections -teddybear Foot-Right Outline
Fill with Color #2

5. New Raster Later,,Selections
Teddybear Foot-Left
Fill with Color #1

Selections - teddybear Nose Lines

Fill with Black...Give it an Inner Bevel
Selections - teddybear Eyes
Fill with black..
Merge All Layers Visible !

8. New Raster Layer - teddybear Ear-Left
Fill with Color #1
Selections None and drag the Ear layer
under the merged Layer...
Select the ear with the Magic Wand
and repeat Noise & Cutout..

9. New Raster Layer - teddybear Ear- Right
Fill with Color #1
Repeat Noise & Cutout
Layers, Merge Visible..
New Raster Layer - teddybear Bottom..
Repeat Color #1, Selections None, Move this layer below the Merged Layer....
Select it with the Magic Wand
Add Noise & Cutout
Merge Layers Visible

Almost done...

Using your Draw Tool...Bezier..
Width 1, Foreground Color #2
Background Null
Draw lines as shown on the
finished graphic at the beginning of this tutorial.....ears, hand, etc.

Using the Retouch Tool..
Round
Size 10
Hardness 50
Opacity 80
Step 8
Density 50
Smudge
Push out the edges of the bear to make
it fluffy like fur....Also smudge a bit
on the lines so they are not so bold
looking..

Add a new layer
Use the settings below to
give him rosy cheeks
Airbrush
Color #5
Size 20
Hardness 50
Opacity 60
Step 40
Density 25
Then go to Effects, Blur,
Gaussian Blur - Radius 3

I think that about does it...
:-)
Oh..Put a bow around his neck
and using the draw tool - bezier 3
draw a little ribbon on his neck..
